Editorial: Is Marco Rubio Dangerous For Democrats?
Yes.
The socialists, communists, progressives and secular humanists fear that man like a political plague. Why? Marco Rubio supports the “three legged stool” of Reaganism: free enterprise, a strong defense, and pro-family social policies.
We have not had a real Reagan-style candidate for President of the United States for many years. The RINO inspired likes of John McCain and Mitt Romney were a terrible waste of time and talent for real conservatives.
This time, let’s get it right!
Here’s Van Jones, on CNN Tuesday night, reacting to Sen. Marco Rubio’s State of the Union response speech:
“Let me tell you one thing about Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio is dangerous for Democrats. He is dangerous. I was so glad he picked up that water bottle, because where he was going — he was getting, he was getting emotional. Marco Rubio is to the heart what Paul Ryan is to the head. Paul Ryan is dangerous because the strength of his intellect. This is a smart guy, Marco Rubio, but when he connects — that last 90 seconds, he’s dangerous for Democrats.” – Van Jones: ‘Marco Rubio is Dangerous For Democrats’
The first-term senator, a tea party favorite, is viewed by many of his Senate colleagues as a rising star in the Republican Party. Here is just one reason:
“Here’s the bottom line: Presidents in both parties have understood that what made America’s middle class possible was the vibrant free enterprise system. The president thinks the free enterprise system is the cause of our problems. He thinks that we need to have a bigger government that’s more involved, and that’s why you saw last night that on issue after issue, every time he identified a problem in America, his solution was some sort of spending program or some new law.” – Marco Rubio, United States Senator, Florida. Cuban American gave the Republican response to President Barack Obama’s 2013 State of the Union Address.

Marco Rubio is dangerous to our way of life Tessler. He is promoting amnesty like your boy Reagan did and it backfired then, and it will backfire now. Mexicans and others of South American Aborigine, mixed with Black and Euro Spanish decent, vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Do you understand that? By giving these people legal status and ultimately this citizenship, only favors the Democratic party. On top of that, so called Hispanics that are here legally, only 25% actually vote. So we break the law, break the our wallets, compromise our security all to get 2 million votes from these people. The Republicans are selling out their base which is the working white man for 2 million votes that they are projected to get (stats from Reagan to Romney) only 600k of that in order to alienate millions of white working voters. The Republicans lost the POTUS election and seats in the Senate and House not because they lost the “Hispanic” vote, but because white people like me felt betrayed and either stayed home or voted for Johnson.
So what would you do, have folks “self deport” like your hero Romney, had suggested in the campaign?
You’re beginning to sound like those other white-bread Republican racists, Ann Coulter and Karl Rove.
[http://ow.ly/hITU1] “No women or ‘freakishly short or funny-looking’ candidates [running for President].”
Further more, anyone believes that about Hispanics in America are folks who either don’t have a political clue or they are simply too ignorant when it comes to the issue of demographics of real, conservative Americans. Hispanic and Asian folks are real “Americans” in every sense of the word. Conservative Republicans need to show that and demonstrate it.
It is very important that real Americans, real Reagan conservatives stop with their anti-Hispanic and Asian rhetoric when it comes to the Hispanic-Asian demographics in America. It is also very important that anyone who believes that racist nonsense understand these SINOradio shows:
“If You Build It They Will Not Come!” 02/09/2013
http://socialismisnotanoption.com/?p=2274
“The Christian and Constitutional Solution To Illegal Immigration” 11/18/2012 http://socialismisnotanoption.com/?p=1278
The reason why McCain and Romney lost is because they failed to successfully put across the fact that America is the land of opportunity, regardless of color. Just look at the demographics when President Reagan ran and Bush II ran.
The message about America, and its greatness, is not just for white-bread folks. It is for all people, regardless of color. Reagan understood that. You should, too.
Tessler, are you joking? These statistics I quoted come from Rush Limbaugh who got it from many credible sources or he would not have said it. Who brought up Asians? I don’t see that anywhere in my response to your editorial. As far as being a bigot, why am I one? You are falling for the same race baiting the libtards play. Look at the voting stats: Overwehelmingly, white men that work for a living voted against Obama. White Married women overwhelmingly voted against Obama. 98% black, and over 60% “Hispanic” voted for Obama. Those are just the facts Tessler. Deal with it. As far as Romney being my hero? Tessler, do you know who u r talking to? You should know well enough what I think of Romney and by the way you voted for him so look at the pot calling the kettle black.
Finally, on self deportation, it was working in Arizona under SB1070 until Obama gutted it. They were self deporting and the statistics prove it. You are the one spouting rhetoric, I am talking facts
You need to review my editorial “The New Christian-less Coalition” of November, 7, 2012 http://socialismisnotanoption.com/?p=1190 .
In it I state:
“According to exit polls, Obama won among women, non-white voters, young voters, and in big cities. Meanwhile, Romney won among upper-income voters and college graduates.” But the real question is: Why those demographics? Why only white men?
Look at the statistics in that article. There is a ton of them. There are millions upon millions of Hispanics and Asian in America that supported Barack Obama. Yet, those two groups are far more patriotic and pro-American than blacks are. Yet, they supported Barack. Why?
Take a look at this article from Bloombert.com: “Asian Voters Send a Message to Republicans” http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-08/asian-voters-send-a-message-to-republicans.html
“But the alienation of Hispanics, many of whom are culturally conservative, from the Republican Party is both bigger and smaller than the issue of immigration.
“For a little perspective, consider the votes of another minority — Asians. Romney won among all voters making more than $100,000 a year by a margin of 54-44. Asian-Americans happen to be the highest-earning group in the U.S., out-earning whites, and they generally place enormous emphasis on family. A perfect fit for Republicans, no?
“No. Asians voted for Obama by 73-26; they were more Democratic than Hispanics.”
The fact of the matter is, Hispanics and Asian are simply not “comfortable” with the “white man” GOP. Yet, these groups are far more conservatives than their white or black counter-parts. Case in point: Governors Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana — both converted from their traditional eastern faiths to Christianity. It’s unlikely that’s a coincidence. And both are conservatives.
“So perhaps the decisive characteristics are not in the Asian and Hispanic communities so much as in the Republican Party. The GOP is overwhelmingly white and insistently, at times militantly, Christian. Democrats, by contrast, are multiracial with a laissez faire attitude toward religion and spirituality. If you were a black-haired Buddhist from Taipei or a brown-skinned Hindu from Bangalore, which party would instinctively seem more comfortable?”
The conservative message has been blurred by the likes of McCain, Romney and the “Rockefeller” Republicans. Bigoted “conservatives” further distort that message. Hispanics and Asian are almost “natural constituents” for conservatives. Unfortunately, too many pig-headed blue eyed, fair skined, Republican “Aryan” types still don’t get it.
“For many years the racial smoke signals worked in Republicans favor. Now Asians, blacks and Hispanics are sending the signals. Blacks vote Democratic 9-1; Asians 3-1; Hispanics almost 3-1. Support for immigration reform will help. But Democrats have a four-decade head start in building and managing multiracial coalitions. Republicans have a lot of catching up to do in a hurry.”
A word to the wise.
PS – I have an excellent show scheduled for today that is very relevant to this issue and one that the blue eyed, fair skinned, Republican “Aryan” types should listen to. It is called:
